our local superfood: Ancient knowledge – rediscovered!

Wild plants in the mountains usually grow unnoticed along the side of the road; on our tours to the summit they go unnoticed and are often considered "weeds" - yet they harbor many secrets.

In earlier times, nature was both a pharmacy and a supermarket. Wild plants were a natural part of the kitchen and also served as remedies for illnesses. Wild herbs in alpine meadows, in particular, have a long tradition.

Want to pick your own organic produce? Then come along!

Three exciting Alpine wild herb day courses await you, where you'll learn practical tips for identifying, collecting, and using healthy and edible wild herbs and wild fruits. We'll cook dinner together, preserve, and prepare wild herb products to take home. We'll conjure up a wild herb breakfast, and after another wild herb excursion, we'll enjoy a light lunch made from the treasures we've collected before heading back down to the valley, packed with knowledge and plenty of inspiration.

On this hike, we'll not only learn about local medicinal and aromatic herbs. I'll also share rituals, myths, and traditions from ancient times. My personal goal is for you to become familiar with the most important wild herbs and be able to confidently identify and collect them independently.
